How iSpirits Cloud uses cookies and similar technologies

Effective Date: 6 April 2026
Operator: Teach P2P Pty Limited (ABN 18 627 201 487), Sydney, NSW, Australia

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give site operators useful information.

In addition to traditional cookies, we also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage (collectively referred to as "cookies" in this policy) to store small amounts of data in your browser. These technologies serve similar purposes to cookies but may persist differently and are managed through your browser settings.

2. How We Use Cookies

iSpirits Cloud uses cookies and local storage for two primary purposes:

  • Essential functionality: To authenticate your session, maintain security, and ensure the Service operates correctly. Without these, the Service cannot function.
  • User preferences: To remember your chosen settings such as display mode and language preference, so you don't have to reconfigure them each time you visit.

We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioural tracking, or analytics profiling.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

The following table lists all cookies and local storage items used by iSpirits Cloud:

Cookie Name Provider Purpose Duration Type Category
access_token iSpirits Cloud JWT authentication token for secure session management 30 minutes Local Storage Essential
refresh_token iSpirits Cloud Token refresh for seamless session continuation 7 days Local Storage Essential

__cf_bm Cloudflare Bot management and security protection 30 minutes Cookie Essential

4. Cookie Categories

Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for the Service to function correctly. They enable core features such as authentication, session management, and security protection. Essential cookies cannot be disabled. If you block them through your browser settings, the Service will not work.

Functional Cookies

These cookies enhance your experience by remembering your preferences, such as your chosen display mode and language. Functional cookies can be disabled, but doing so may affect the usability of the Service — for example, your preferences will not persist between sessions and you may need to reconfigure them each time you visit.

5. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete individual cookies and local storage items
  • Block cookies from specific or all websites
  • Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set
  • Clear all cookies and local storage when you close the browser

For instructions specific to your browser, consult your browser's help documentation or visit the browser developer's website.

Important: Disabling essential cookies (particularly access_token and refresh_token) will prevent you from logging in and using iSpirits Cloud. The Service requires these items to authenticate your session securely.

6. Third-Party Cookies

We use Cloudflare for security and performance services, including bot detection and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may set cookies (such as __cf_bm) on your device as part of these services.

We do not use any other third-party cookies for advertising, social media, or analytics purposes.

For more information about how Cloudflare handles your data, please review the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by:

  • Updating the effective date at the top of this page
  • Displaying a notice within the Service
  • Sending an email notification for significant changes

We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
